Michael Thomsen has held various finance and business administration roles during his career. He has worked in the bond industry, founded and sold multiple companies, and worked as a CFO for over a decade. His most recent role was Executive Vice President of Finance for an international public company.

He is a Sonoma County native and a graduate of Healdsburg High. From Healdsburg High, Michael attended the University of San Diego, where he received his BA in Business Administration and International Relations. After working and living in San Francisco for nearly 15 years, he and his wife, Kelly, returned to Healdsburg a little over 10 years ago. Michael and Kelly have two children at THS, Emilia (1st) and Ian (4th). When not working, Michael enjoys coaching the kids’ sports and occasionally finds time to golf and play softball.
