Our research-based program teaches to real world issues and makes use of the essential basic skills.
At the center of THS’s rigorous academic program, we emphasize proficiency in the building blocks of learning (reading, writing, and mathematics). Yet, our school goes far beyond a traditional 3 R’s approach. Our thematic, integrated curriculum teaches fundamental concepts by involving children in exciting hands-on projects drawn from a broad range of disciplines, including science, history, literature, communication (both oral and written), world languages, mathematics, economics, geography, physical development/health, and the arts.
Our curriculum is carefully designed to ensure that, year-after-year, students are meeting and surpassing national and international standards while building a firm foundation of cultural and scientific knowledge that will hold them in good stead in high school, college and beyond.
