Welcome to The Healdsburg School, the premier independent school for grades K-8 in Sonoma County. The Healdsburg School is now in its third year of operations, expanding from a 7th and 8th grade school in 2007 to a comprehensive elementary K-8 school in 2008. We are elated to report that our enrollment has increased by 30% over the last school year and we are well on our way to being at full enrollment within the next 2 years.

At the heart of THS is the belief that a rigorous approach to academics within a caring and supportive community helps students understand their own potential. We aspire to invigorate children’s minds and bodies; nurture their creativity, capacity for empathy, and sense of humor; and help them build an awareness of their responsibilities to their communities and the world.
